What is Coco Peat

Cocopeat is a natural fiber made from coconut husks.
The extraction of coconut fiber from husks produces this byproduct called coco-peat, which is a 100% natural growing medium. This dried cocopeat is processed to produce different items, including cocopeat block, coco peat briquettes, cocopeat tablets, etc

When hydrated with around 25 liters of water, a single Coco Peat 5 kg block weighs between 4.8 and 5.2 kg and yields 60 to 75 liters. 5 Kg coco peat blocks are commonly packed in pallets or as 5-piece bales. They are mostly used in bulk for producing potting soil or for the soilless growing of fruits and vegetables. Washed Low EC and Unwashed High EC Coco Peat 5 Kg blocks are offered in two grades.
